That Sporty is about as close as you'll get a Harley to look like what we Brits call a "Cafe Racer" (see pic attached below). We grew up on diet of these things in the 50s and 60s - usually based around Truimphs or Nortons etc. Cafe culture among the youth of the day was very prominent, they used to race them either cafe to cafe or on a circular route on the surrounding roads. They would usually have dropped bars and be a mix of different bikes - e.g Norton And Triumph (Triton) or Triumph BSA (Tribsa).
So yeah - guess we Brits have different tastes to you guys, but seeing that Sporty conjours up all kinds of nostaglia to me
