Thanks to everyone who has replied so far. My Dealer , or Stealer if you prefer, did NOT know any thing about the "Full Monty" of the MOCO replacing the Tranny Case and Inner Primary until I informed them and they have replaced many 2006 Inner Primary Bearings.
Neither did they know any thing about the issue with the Stator Rotor being bolted together until I pointed that out to them when they tore my Street Bob down for the "Full Monty".
I am planning on calling MOCO Customer Service and see if I can brow beat them into paying for the replacement of the Stator Rotor. I'll let you all know how this turns out.
I'm also replacing the Front Motor Mount while doing all of this. Might as well do it while the bike is down I'm thinking. I've also had a set of black powder coated Triple Trees sitting in the garage for some time, so I will swap those out also during this down time.
I had the stator rotor replaced in my '06 while the dealership had the bike tore down for the Inner Primary Bearing issue doing the "Full Monty". Just went in and paid the bill today. Now I'm talking with MOCO Customer Service to hassel them over the stator rotor
problem on most '06 Dyna's. We will see how far I get and I will update you. Right now Customer Service has agreed to call the Dealership and see what all was done to my bike.

2006 Stator Rotor Upgrade is NOT Compatable to Stator
I just went to my local dealership where they did the "Full Monty" on the Inner Primary Bearing Issue. While the bike was there, I had them upgrade the Stator Rotor as I have mentioned earlier. Well, today the Service Department told me, "That the MOCO called them yesterday and told them the Stator on the early 2006 Dyna's did NOT work properly with the upgraded 2007 style Stator Rotors. They fit just fine, but they are of a different electrical out put." Now my Dealership is going to have to go back and tear into it again and replace the stator also. The MOCO has agreed to pay for this and also pay for the Stator. I will call the MOCO again Monday, if I have not heard back from them letting me know what they are going to do about paying for the replacement of the Stator Rotor itself. I'm also trying to get the MOCO to refund my $50.00 co-pay were I had the Inner Primary Bearing replaced the second time under extended warranty, as they did not do the "Full Monty" at that time, whenthey should have. As always, I will keep you all updated.

I do NOT know what the "Out Put" difference is at this time, only that the updated unit is a higher out put stator. I won't be able to check and see if my Dealer knows , or not until Tuesday. I doubt they know though, as they didn't have a clue there was a difference until I started ****ing with the MOCO over the stator rotor. As I find out any more I will definatley post it.

I installed the 07 stator in my 06 Street Bob as a precaution. Has been working fine for about 5,000 miles. Can someone explain whether there's a downside to this- I'm thinking that if the change were going to cause electrical problems, something would have happened by now. Jay
The MOCO told me today they would pay for the Stator Rotor and the Stator. My Dealership is closed today, but I will be going there tomorrow to check on this and see if they have been informed as of yet. I will aso see if I can find out the "Out put" difference at this time. But, like I said before, "I'm not sure if my dealership will have a clue, or not.
I did go to the local HD Dealership today and they refunded the money I had paid prior for the replacement of the Stator Rotor, per authorization from the MOCO. While there I got the parts number for the early '06 Dyna Stator and Stator Rotor along with the up grade part numbers. The difference in the out put is... Early '06 Stator 38 AMP, up grade Stator 40 AMP and there is a visual difference... the up grade Stator is wound much heavier making the stator thicker, so to speak. The parts numbers are, Early '06: Stator 30017-01A,
Stator Rotor 40356-06; Up Grade/Same as '07 Stator 30017-07 and Stator Rotor 40356-07.
Maybe some of you who have replaced the Stator Rotor and not the Stator would want to look into this as the MOCO told the local Dealership here that it would affect the out put. You may also want to look into getting your money refunded for your out of pocket purchase of the Stator Rotor. Good luck to all those who take this on.
