Default Am I Missing Something???

If I go with Wide Glide front end on my Street Bob....am I only gaining 1 1/2 in. wider...3/4 on each side???...And am I giving up 49mil. to 39/41mil???
It is hard to see 3/4 in (for looks)....but it is easy to feel 8-10 mil.(for performance).....It's physics...put two skinny sticks far apart or put two fat sticks close together...what's stronger??....that's "sticks...not chicks"..
... I've been wrong before...just ask my Wife..

the wideglide front end would still be 49mm.. you would just need to change your trees, axle and spacers..

Here is a Super Glide, which has the same frame as your Street Bob, with a 49mm Wide Glide front end.

The 1.5" wider stance doesn't sound like much, but gives the appearance of being much wider than the mid-glide front end.

Personally, I think the narrower front end looks a lot better than the wideglide. Then again, I like the Mullins super narrow trees.

The wide glide looks excellent on the Super Glide.
