Recommend me FXDB suspension

I need some help setting up a speed suspension on the bob.I looking to lower a inch ,front and rear with a $1000 -$1200 budget DIY..I do a lot of haulen *** on back winding roads for kicks and want to get it right the first time..So figured i'd ask...before i wasted money experimenting with ads..

Don't lower it.It'll only lose you cornering clearance and make it ride like hell.Don't ask me how I know this.$1000 will get you some fairly nice suspension components maybe even some sort of stabilizer like true track.I'm not familiar with the pricing on everything but I'm sure someone will chime in.For the record I have Progressive 11" HD 412s in back and thier standard length springs up front with 15wt oil.My forks are slid up in the tubes 1/2" This set up handles pretty good for a slammed bobber but the ride can be downright painfull on busted up pavement.The LePera Barebones seat doesn't help much either.
