Default Info about Carlini apes

I checked some photos and some previews about the Carlini Original Apes.
I think i'm going for the 13'' tall-1,25'' thick.
But the base of the apes are thinner than 1.25''...aren't they
If they are, do the fit with genuine HD risers for 1'' bars?
Carlini has risers for 1,25'' bars, but there's a note: for 1,25'' non step bars...
What's a bloody non step bar?
Thanks guys

I was looking at there web site and it looks like the 1.25 inch ape original bars are step down to 1 inch in the picture and non step on there 1.5 inch bars. At best, I would just call them or email them to get the specifics on the 1.25 inch ones that you want so that you have the right set of risers.

They have "stepped" and "non-step". When i ordered my gangsters i had to call to make sure they would fit. Carlinis make a GREAT hanger bud. You'll love em!

stepped means that the thickness of the bar drops down to 1" at the riser area so that you can get your stock 1" risers on

non stepped means that it's 1.25" thick at the risers so you'll have to shell out for carlini's risers for 1.25" bars.
