i let the bike sit for a year and now after running it , it is allowing oil to come out thru the crankcase brreather and it runs out over the engine thru the air filter. i pulled the check valve out and it was clean and shiney so what else could it be? there seems to be alot of pressure coming out of the breather pipe but no oil till it gets fully warmed up. thank you

 

there is the possibility of the oil being overfilled? I don't know anything about evo's that tends to be the cause for many onf the twin cams oil through the breather problems. I get oil out of my breathers when hot, not too much sometimes it does get a few drops outside the air cleaner. Is it just flowing out or just getting a little bit?

 

You may need to replace the spring under the check valve ball. they may look OK but they do get weak after awhile.Have you ever changed the spring?

 

down now to little spray at very fast idle. oil level is a little low. never thought of spring being bad
