Default where is the primary drain plug 05 dyna

have an 05 wide glide but a little confused on the Primary drain plug; where it's at and the tool needed to remove it. It seems they are a little different on various models.
thanks

Its in the bottom of the outer primary directly under the derby cover. if i remember right it takes a allen wrench.

Could be a torx. Make sure or you'll bugger the plug up.

it should be a torques not an allen... be sure to use teflon tape when you put it back in

Thanks for the attachment. I did see this and they seem to identify the torx screws but they say nothing about the drain plug....at least they're not very specific.
I think they were changed in 04 to something different and then again in 06.

top picture shows a tool on the drain screw. it is an allen bolt not a torx screw. Use a 3/16" allen wrench.

Exactly - I've been on the same year/model a few times.....
I've also been using the same stock frisbee gasket since day 1
