Glad my 13 FLD has no security system. Just another thing to go wrong.

I'd be afraid to guess...

If the Tech is using the dealer's Digital Tec II, he should be able to know when a bike has different ECM....

Besides, I believe the FOB serial number is added & stored in the TSSM on older bikes and in the BCM with the newer CanBus bikes, not in the ECM...


But to be fair, I have never used a Digital Tech II. I only have experience with a PowerVision Tuner, the Centurion Pro, and also with a Daytona Twin Tec, Twin Scan II.

07 and newer were Buttonless Fobs. Check the independent shops for Programing, they'll be more reasonable than the dealership.
