I bought the Street Bob because the price was too Right to pass it up. That and the solid flat black just seemed to grow on be screaming "Take Me Home"

Now that said I honestly never even looked at either SB or a WG before and really wanted a Low Rider or a Springer.

just get the one you like the best... FWIW wideglide has forwards standard, streetglide has mids.

The Bob, no doubt. Although I liked the older WG a lot (not the new version) I'm on the short side so forward controls wouldn't work well for me. Highway pegs do just fine for those longer trips. As was said, ride both and see which one feels most comfortable.

Let us know which one you decide on.

Get whichever one that feels best to you. There will be differences in fit, seat height, riding position, etc. I don't think you'll be sorry either way.

Going by looks only I like the WG, now add in handling it's a toss up. Buy the one that makes you feel cool when on the bike. You cant go wrong ether way.

I'd go for the SB only for the looks. Never rode either of these two.

By now considering your opinions I would go for the SB for sure. I like the dark looks of the SB Black Denim. Also considering I was comftable with the mid controls and that I am just 5'7" the SB will do well. I sat on the SB at the dealer and was comftable. I wish to hear more comments from you. Really appreciate your feedback.
