Quick Question on a 95" Big Bore Kit
So I'm doing a 95" build on my 1999 FXDX, and I was just wondering what compression ratio should I go with? 10.5:1, 10.25:1, or 9:1? I'm dropping some SE 203's in there while I'm at it. I also have a t header and a mikuni on it. Any input would be great. Thanks

the 203s have a 36 deg intake closing. i wouldnt go over 9.8 static 9.2 corrected. stock heads and a .030 head gasket with flat top pistons will get you close to 9.5 static.

Your best bet is to ask the tech in the engine tech forum or the person helping you pick parts for your build. Each cam is designed to perform best with a certain comp and without doing the research I couldn't offer a suggestion.
