Default front brake lever

merry christmas and happy new year to all. i would like to see if anyone can help me with my problem. i have a 2009 super glide. my front brake when sitting idle will make contact with the sensor that turns on my brake light. when riding if i want me brake light to be in the running brightness i have to push the front brake lever forward. i was wondering if and how you can tighten up the lever or the brake cable to keep it from contacting the sensor until i squeeze the lever to use the front brake. i have a service manual and there is nothing in there about tightening the lever up like you would with the clutch lever. any help would be very much appreciated. thank you in advance

Check out this thread: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...ke-switch.html

It could be the wedge/spring clip (#4 in diagram) is causing this problem.

You're under factory warranty. Take it in and let the dealer handle it.
