go to a auto paint store ask them for a ultra fine 3m scuff pad and ask them for plastic primer. spray a coat on let it flash for about 10 min. apply another coat and let it flash. also buy a tack cloth to wip off any dust or lint after each coat make sure primer is dry to the touch befor wiping. and buy your paint if u have a spray gun get strainers and it should be ready to spray. spray it the same way u did the primer put a coat let it flash off and put another coat and u should have coverage by the second coat. u dont want alot of paint build 1 to 3 coats at the most. black covers very quick. if u dont have a spray gun buy a spray bomb it will do the same but shake can very well and befor u spray it on your part spray it out first on a piece of paper or cardboard. if u dont spray it out first it could spit a chunk of paint out and it takes for ever to dry. sorry u will sand the part with that scuff pad until its dull looking wipe it down with rubbing alcohol cuz it evaporates real fast then procede with what i stated above good luck hope it helps u out i have been in the body shop business for 30 plus years if u need anymore help just holler there will be other options from other people on this forum and they will also be helpful.as far as paint u can use flat black, satin black. satin black is what denim is or the usual gloss black try not to spray it on to wet u could get fisheyes and when that happens wip it all off and star all over again. dont use alcohol use acetone. iam done later
