Default Exhaust upgrade ??

I am looking at a D&D 2:2 system and they show two different stock numbers for my 05 FXDWGI.
ONe has a O2 Bungs and other without the O2 Bungs.
How do I know which one I need or is required??

Look at your pipes from the leff side of the bike and you will see the sensors in the back side if the pipes. Then again, if your bike is carbed you won't have them.

my 05 doesnt have them , neither the stock exhaust not the new hookers i just installed. I dont know for certain but my guess would be that the ones with the bungs were probably made for states like Cali that have tough emission control laws. look and see if your bike has o2 sensors in the exhaust currently. congrats on the new pipes, i am stoked about mine and just ordered a pcv for mine from fuelmoto. patiently waiting on the ups dude, lol. happy new year

It's the o2 bung differance, just cause it might be F/I doesn't mean it has 02 sensors.Like they saide see if it has 02 sensors or not

I am really a virgin to the motorcycle world. But, car days tells me the left side is the drivers side of the car or as one is sitting in the car. In this case, my pipes are resting on the right. Is the left side the opposite on bikes?

Just look at the back side of the pipes. If smooth, no o2 sensors. big sensor on one or both headers, you have o2 sensors. I doubt you have em. I don't think 05 FI had o2 sensors.

Well - since you have stated that your bike is FXDWGI - then you have fuel injection. None of the 2005 bikes came with O2 sensors so you don't need them - HOWEVER - if the price is the same - and the fitment is the same, I'd go with the ones that have the bungs. This will allow you to more easily add an auto tuner in the future - Ya never know .......

No, left is left. It's just a matter of being able to see the back side of the pipes where the sensors would be located from that side. Look between the rear cylinder and the coil, you can see the pipe and where the sensor would be if it has one.
