Cool wideglide front tire sizes

What is the difference between a MH 90-21 and a 90/90H21? Also, what is the stock front wheel size for a Wideglide? I'm doing a wideglide conversion, and replacing the stock 19" with a 21"

I'm not the expert, but I'll tell you what I think.

MH90 and 80/90 are equivalent size and this is the size on my 2007 WG (stock). For comparison, Avon lists the width on their MH90 and 80/90 at 3.3" wide and 27.1" diameter. The 90/90 shows 3.7" wide and 27.6" diameter.

Stock front wheel on my 2007 is 21" and 2.15" wide.

If I don't have it quite right, I'll let someone who knows better set me straight.

Shawn

If that info is wrong, then my knowledge is also flawed.

When I got new rubber for my WG, I went with a 90/90/21 on the front. Many people here did the same thing and I just followed suite.

You can also go wider...like I did on my '97 WG. Running a 21" x 3.25" wheel (Hogpro Scalpel) with a 120/70 tire (Metzler ME880).

I'll most likely go with the 90/90h-21,(ME880). I also want to get a twisted spoke wheel,(have one on the back). Which is better, stainless or chrome? Where can I get a quality wheel at a reasonable price? I checked E-Bay,no luck. I'm looking for a 40 spoke wheel.

Right on ...same here . You'll like the 90/90/21 a little better than the 80/90 . You will absolutely notice a better handling bike .

how about a fat bob wheel, with a wide glide front, modifying a dyna low rider. keeping the same forks of my 2006 Lowrider. I'm not sure if its feesable, i'm thinking it would ride smoother and look good.

When you went with the 21x3.5, were you still able to use the stock fender up front?
thanks, Jeff
