Another simple option is mounted to the battery tray, centered in the area below the seat.
I did not cut my bracket off though, kept it for the plug wire, and in case I ever find a horn I like in that spot.

I just took mine off.
then put it back on for inspections.

The only inspection you might have is a decibel check. There is no law saying where the horn has to be.
