......Been making some indicator re-location mounts for my Dyna and not sure whether to go for the polished look or the painted black. I like both so I'm very undecided and thought I'd ask you guys for your opinions. The black does look better than it does in the shots - plus it was the only black I had hanging around my garage, which is slighly metallic. If I do go for the black the final version will be a proper BLACK and it'll have a black bolt in there rather than the stainless one shown inthe photo - that was the only one I could find!...... S'pose I could do one side black and the other polished!
Nice job on the mounts, tough call on the color, I can see why you having trouble making up your mind. It might be easier to decide on black if the headlight cover were also black, or the triple trees or ... anyway just a thought, I'd consider wrinkle black like what you have on your tank dash.
Polished with the stainless bolts. I have not had much luck with other types of bolts not showing some rust after a while.
I for one would like to see a few pics of your tank console, been thinking of painting mine, hate the glare I get off of it.
