Default Thinking about a 2010

I am close to maybe getting a new Dyna. The price and looks of the Super Glide Custom are hard to pass up. However, I keep thinking about the new Wide Glides and the Street Bob. Before I buy anything, I will take a demo ride to see what I like best. Other than the bars and the chrome vs. black trim the SGC and Street Bob seem similar in how they will feel. The WG is a whole different deal with the 21" front and rake. Those of you who have been down this road recently and bought either of these bikes have any advice?

Thanks, Brent.

Has anyone seen the Steet Bob in the Black Ice Denim color? I really like the SGC in the Black Ice, which I have seen. I am thinking the denim won't have any sparkle lile the pearl does.

Personally, I wouldn't want a 10, as I'd have to take off the exhaust off and cut out the cat, and I wouldn't want to do that to a new bike. It'd probably void out your warranty or some stupid **** like that.

I was in the same situation a couple of weeks ago. I was deciding between the WG and the SG Custom. As you can see in the Sig that I went with the WG and I couldn't be happier! Both are great bikes, which I test rode by the way but in the end something in my mind kept telling me that I'd kick myself in the a$$ if I passed up on the WG. This bike is awesome and is always getting looks and compliments. Ride both and get what your gut tells you to get. Don't second guess yourself cause you could spend all day at the dealer doing that. Good luck!

I have a 10 Street Bob and almost bought a SG Custom. IMO the Custom is the best deal HD has out there. I didn't like the wide glide as much as I thought I would. The front tire looks too skinny to me on those forks.

My bike didn't have a catalytic converter on it. I think only cali models do.

Do you want fwd controls or mid? Blacked out look or chrome?
I wanted a blacked out with fwd controls so went with the street bob and installed fwd controls. Did it myself and cost $350 in parts and 6 hours (yes I know I'm slow!).

My advise is go with the bike that is closest to your ideal. Can't go wrong with any dyna but I like the FXDF and FXDWG with fwd controls of course. Again, you have narrowed your search to a dyna so you can't go wrong.
