I am planning to change my short shots to the black V/H Big Radius. I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with this exhaust set? I would appreciate any information.
we have recoated prob about 15 sets of V&H pipes, the ceramic is so fragile, it handles the heat great but scuffs and scratches and chips like crazy! that is really the only down side i have seen on the black ones... i have the BR 2-2 on mine that i powdered a few years ago and i love them! love the sound wiht BCT baffels in there and they perform pretty well! over all i am very pleased
I would not spend the money on a different 2-2 system If I had your bike. IMHO, take the heatshields off your bike and have them powdercoated. I like the short shot staggered better than the big radius on the fatbob.

I know but I just love the way the Big Radius look. Besides I believe that the BR have a power chamber and it has a deeper sounds besides just being loud (which I like) but got the itch for a different set of pipes.
I am also putting these pipes on a 2007 Dyna Super Glide this weekend. How the heck do you get the front stock exhaust bracket off as the torx screw going into the bottom of the cam cover is directly above the frame tube! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP FROM A NEW MEMBER!
bigjohn to get that off you need several beers and lot of cussing.
I have seen people leave it on i took mine off i cut down the torx bit and then used one of those little torx bit holders that is flat and ratchets if you know what iam talking about and it comes out just takes some cussing lol.
