Yeah...I'd love to put one on our Dynas too. Here is another adapter for the stock wheel. It works pretty well. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MOTOR...Q5fAccessories

It works as advertised, but may get caught up/turned on when wearing thick winter gloves. Easily removed as well if needed.

BTW Their cup holders are great, about $22. Far better than the Kustom Kaddy that HD stealerships sell for $40. My Kustom Kaddy broke off after 4 months of use. It was under 1 yr warranty so got a replacement and gave it away just yesterday.
Bought the Bare Foot ******* cup holder for my Super Glide since the one on my Gold Wing is still in like new condition after 3 years of use.
Thanks for the link, I just ordered one. It is exactly what I had in mind to do but for Ten bucks shipped I wouldn't even try to make one.

As I see it the difference between the two less expensive flip switches and the $50 one is that the two would still have a lot of drag on the throttle with the switch in release position. It has to do with the fineness of the threads. I wouldn't hate the stock wheel so bad if it took fewer turns to engage / release the lock.

The Cruise-mate people change the pitch of the threads so there is more vertical travel for the same lever movement.

No, I have no connection to the company - I don't even have one yet (too many other priorities), but I'd say that would be a very important difference.

I tried that one and didn't like it at all. It constantly got in the way of my hand twisting the throttle when not in use.

I would love actual cruise, not a throttle lock.

Audiovox makes a universal CC model that several guys I know use on V-Stroms, but I don't know anything about the install.

Crampbuster has worked well for me: http://www.crampbuster.com/

Lets you hold the throttle with your palm while the fingers relax. You can't ride with no hands, but you shouldn't be doing that anyway.
