Default 2010 Street Bob Progress

I was going to wait to post any pics but after spending all day knocking out some small projects I thought I would post them up. I have been using scotch brite on all the chrome and finally did the speedo trim ring. Having the manual is much easier than going by the seat of my pants. I also dimpled and brushed my levers and finally brushed out my tail light. It's from www.noschoolchoppers.com and the quality is excellent. The only thing I realy have left to do is the fuel gauge. I'll do it tomorrow, then it's just waiting on parts.

Looks great. That technique flows with the denim paint. Take a few pics of an over all view of the bike.

The bike is torn down right now and should be back up by the end of next month. I'll post up some pics when I get it back together. Thanks for the comments. I've spent more time doing the scotch brite than I care to talk about.

If you pull and brush the levers, it is also a good time to cut the nuts off the end and round them out. I think Jake did an under-50 post on it. I cut my nuts and brushed my levers two years ago and they still look great. Does the scotch-brite scuffed chrome hold up, or will it weather faster than chrome or brushed aluminum? I really like that dulled look on the gauge rings.

I'm going to cut the nuts off the levers but I didn't have the files I need to do it right so I'll wait to do it. I just trying to get some busy work done until my parts start coming in.
