Got a sweet deal on my first bike. A 2007 FXD with low miles that this guys ex-wife I assume took a baseball bat to the tank. He also had a bad fit on a two up seat that dented the rear fender (My old man had a solo seat off his FXD that he gave me.) Other than the tank and fender damage the bike runs and rides great.
Replaced the riser bushings with poly bushings today as the old ones were shot and one of the exhaust flange bolts was missing a nut.
Since I'm getting a new tank and fender I'm probably going to try and swap a Street Bob tank on and see if a wide glide fender will fit ok. Looking forward to making the bike mine and putting a ton of miles on it.
