I've got Progressive 412's,heavy duty, on my bike set on the softest setting
and believe me they are very stiff.

.................................................. .....................

Forgot to add, mine are eleven inch so they don't have much travel anyway,
might be a whole different story with taller shocks but then you
wouldn't get the lowering effect which was what I was looking for.
Tom, have you got a straight on side shot of your sled??

I have a 2005 FXDCI
I weight 250 lbs. and the heavy duty is perfect for me ...if you weigh less then 250 and ride solo as I do i think the heavy duty will be too firm...go with the stock model
i have stock lenght 440's and ride mostly solo...set at the softest position
hope this helps

I've looked into the Works shocks a bit but didn't hear much about them on this forum or V-twin. I hear a lot about the Progressive's. What is your experience with the Works shock? I guess I have to do a little more research.

Anybody know where I can find the correct part number for the following:

412, Chrome, 12", Light Duty (as in NOT heavy duty) for 2006 Dyna Street Bob?

Their website appears somewhat useless in finding this info.

THANKS!

Thanks, but I want the 412. Could it be 412-4036C? The catalog on their website doesn't list anything above 2005.

I believe the '05's fit the '06 models. This is what I gathered so far. Am I correct?
