No, it's a lay-down version of the typical fxd speedo bracket. It mounts to the top of the risers but the 48 looks like it's got it's own unique top triple tree. I'm not saying it won't work, but...

we don't even have a parts list book for the new 48 sporty yet.

cruisercustomizind has a pair of raiser 1" up and 2" back made for dyna's part number RIV-FXD017

I don't even remember this thread! Those were just stock risers with stock Nightster chrome bars, they also come in black. There may be more options out there now, I just haven't looked lately.

Here is what happens when you use pull back risers with the bar mounted speedo. Doesn't look to bad with a fairing but it looks a little funny without.
