Default FXD Comparo

Hello everyone! New to this forum and already asking for your help.
I'm looking into getting an FXD, does anybody know if there are changes between 2009 and 2010 models? Thanks in advance.

supposedly the old straight cut type made some whining noise from the tranny.. mines never done it but the new helical is supposed to be quieter and smoother..

The only additions that HD lists for the 2010 model are the helical cut 5th gear and they switched tires from Dunlap to Michelin's.

Is it worth saving $1000 to get the 09?

Only you can answer that, assuming both are brand new from the dealer and come with the same warranty. When I was looking at a new, left over 09 a few weeks back the dealer offered me 1300 off sticker.
