Default Bearing grease on front axle

I don't have a picture right now because I am at work, but I just noticed what appears to be grease near the bearing on the right side of the front axle on my Street Bob. Is this normal for this to be seen? If it needs to go back to the dealer for warranty work then that is fine, but I want to check to see if this is something that is normal first. I know it would be easier to describe with a picture. I will get one as soon as I get home tomorrow.

I have a 98 Wide Glide, not a late model Bob. I assume that you're worried you're seeping grease from a sealed system. If your Bob is designed like my Wide Glide, you've got nothing to worry about. it's not a sealed system and you're just seeping excess lubricant. I'm sure Bobbers here will either confirm or correct me.

Have you used a high pressure water washer on your bike? If so, you may have washed the grease out of the bearings, which is why you should always hand wash...

I would check with the service department, but I think all the bearings are sealed.

Soup is right. My manual says the bearings are sealed.

Sorry I still havent been able to get a pic. It's just busy around here for me. As far as how I have washed the bike, it has always been by hand. I wouldn't dare use a high pressure washer on it. I guess in the next few weeks I am going to have to get it up to the dealer for some warranty work.
