I you want an unlimited amount shade tree mechanic opinions on oil, post something on the internet. If you really want to know how well your oil is working spend the 25 bucks on an oil analysis kit.

I agree with DOPE MAN. Stick to proper maint. schedule and use SE Synthetic and you ll be O.K. If something goes wrong, you ll be using a HD oil which may help out the situation with the dealer. Or maybe not....but it wouldn t hurt it. I just switch to SE Syn oil in my Transmission and feel that it sounds much better and shifts much better too. The Service Tech told me that it would be a little but I was skeptical. Well, it did work! Good luck with deciding.

I always use Mobil 1 VTwin 20W50 synth in the motor and I was using it in the primary till this last time. I had a quart of HD Formula + in the garage so I used that in the primary this time. It may be my imagination but I think the Mobil 1 was a little quieter in there and the clutch feels a little different now like it may be slipping. I'll put Mobil 1 back in there next time.
I also use Amsoil 75W 90 severe gear in the tranny and I'll stick with that.
