IPB Removal?
Hey Guys, Time to replace my ipb, but i really dont want to go to the stealership to have them press it out. Ive got the tool coming in the mail for the race, but does anyone have any good ways to pop the old bearing out and press the new one in without a press?

Take out the snap ring and get a socket the same size and knock it out. For the inner race on the input shaft take a dremel and make 2 cuts length ways opposite of each other about 80% of the way through with out scoring the shaft. Then take a small chisel and a small hammer and smack it one time and the race should pop right off. Took me 5 minutes. All this is assuming that you are going to upgrade to the Baker bearing. If your not and you are going to put another POS moco bearing in then don't remove the race from the input shaft. If you're upgrading, freeze the Baker bearing over night and it will go in the case no problem, put the snap ring back on and you're in business.
