Default baffle removal help

i have a 08 street bob with vance and hines short shot staggered. what is entailed in removing the baffles and do i have to re map?

you have to pull the heat shield off and on the bottom of each pipe toward the end there ia screw for each pipe take those out then pull the baffles out. I did mine a while back but it sounded realy crappy to me so i put them back in.

well if it sounds crappy then i think ill scrap the idea. im just trying to get obnoxiously loud

i was cool sounding till you let of the throttle the the loud a$$ popping started. but is was loud! i guess i should have said it like this the first time.

you can drill out the baffles and it will sound pretty good

I used a dremmel with cutting blade to cut small square hole in back of heat shields where screws are to remove baffles and replace with BCT's. This way you do not have to remove the heat shields. Just another way to do it.
