T-bags are the way to go. I can pack my universal expandable for a 3 week trip no problem. I don't even run saddlebags. pic before a long trip below... also recomend luggage rack out back.
+1 on the T-Bag Universal Expandable. On my Heritage, I use it upright on the sissy and put the roll on for additional storage. All the straps make it very secure, and facing toward the rider makes for a great backrest.
On the Lowrider(no sissy) I use the T-Bag laid down. I remove one screw from my Motherwell rack, slide on the T-Bag, replace screw and tiedown with a couple straps. Very vesitile and the expandability makes for a great capacity.
Jackyl makes a detachable setup for a tourpak. Although a tourpak on a dyna looks silly, it's more than functional. I always thought it was a cool idea. Maybe something for you to contemplate.

Yeah, a hard tour pack with throw over saddlebags might look a bit hoky. Honestly, I'm not one of those that cares if a part looks funny as long as it works, though. That being said, for straight up ulility, these guys pretty much have me sold on the T-bag. Plus, the wife likes the t-bag as well. So, I'll order one up tonight when I get home from the office and we'll see how it works when it gets here. Its not like I'm out thousands of dollars if I hate it, but with all the fans they have, I assume they must hold a ton of stuff.

Actually I meant the tourpak in lieu of the throwovers. Im sure you can fit two saddlebags worth and then some in the tourpak.
