Veniculum!
I was kind of hoping that you would ring in on this thread. It was one of your posts that gave me the heads up on the poly bushings. Once again, “Thanks Man” they work great.

See that...we help each other even when we don't know we're doing it. I'm glad my post guided you in the right direction!

As far as HD vs. aftermarket....I have the HDs. Considering the cost of most HD parts...these were relatively inexpensive. I'm sure either way you go, you'll have a noticeable improvement.

And to comment on the post that mentioned dampening...the stockers may very well dampen vibration a little more...but as a result, the bars really tend to move around a lot...especially if you have the mini-apes. I, personally, don't like the feeling. When the urathane bushings were installed, it felt a lot more solid...and like I said...the front suspension should provide all the damping you need. If it's not enough, I would suggest upgrading the suspension..not relying on the piece of junk stock riser bushings.

Good luck.

I replaced mine with a set and they make a world of difference in the stability of the bars.
Possible stupid question, but here goes:

Can the bushings & chrome washers be installed, one side at a time, while the bars are MOUNTED, or do I need to take it all down to parade rest before removing/replacing them?

Anyone?

THANKS!
