ya i just saw his ebay store. I'm willing to spend "some" money, just not what the moco wants. was just thinking this might be a more economical way to do it

Chroming can be pricey. I checked into it once and determined it would be easier to get the chromed one.

I just got a quote from this guy for $160 to chrome my 99 FXDWG swingarm. Bought a used one off eBay for $40 + $160 to chrome = $200 plus shipping. Saves me $100+

What about powder coat. not as shiney but still looks good.

I am thinking of getting the 2011 wide glide and really like the look of the kuryakyn swingarm cover. Sent them an email and they said it won't fit 2010 onward models.
