got my bike back yesterday after a total face lift.
i'll post pics soon as i had a busy weekend and didn't really have time.
along with adding a wimmer high flow air intake, i installed a pcV and have my samson street sweepers on the bike.
my bike dyno'd at 65 hp and 85 tq...should i be disappointed with these numbers?
i got about 25 miles in yesterday and the bike runs AWESOME. did some highway miles and the bike didn't seem to fight as hard to cruise in the 70-75 range, it was real comfortable there.
also, my pipes deepened up A LOT. my bike definitely picked up a set of *****.
i guess i shouldn't worry about the numbers if i'm ecstatic about everything else, but i was just wondering if this was on par...
I'm a little surprised, those sound like stock numbers to me, not Stage 1 numbers. If it were me, yes I'd be disappointed.
i agree... i would be pissed but then again once i got on the bike id just go "eh... whatever" but thats me... easily entertained. but anyways... yes those sound like the numbers MY bike is pumping out.
i would prolly be upset, but hows it feel for you? just for comparison I have V&H short shots, V&H intake and a fuel pack, i dyno at 75 hp and torque. and that was two differnt times in two differnt states....
The pipes on there are not conducive to very good gains over a stock system... Probably sound great though. funny you just picked up a couple HP over a normal stock motor. Should be more. Can you post your dyno results? By the way, results can vary drastically depending on conditions of the day, the dyno, etc...
Yeah, that sounds like stock #'s. You should be around mid 70's hp & high 80's to low 90's tq. Maybe they gave you the wrong sheet or your looking at the wrong #'s. But if you are impressed with the way it rides, then who cares about what it says on paper.
That is roughly what your bike puts out in stock form, as it sits. Now you have a baseline for gauging improvements such as new cam, big bore kit, etc.
