How easy? Well, I changed mine myself, so not to0 difficult :-) (meaning, I'm no mechanic and I managed).

I hadn't heard the "tap with hammer to break the lock tight" idea. Great tip! Gonna change my derby and timer covers out tonight so I'll give it a try.

Hey all, I'm just about to swap out my Derby cover, 09 FXD. I asked for a new Gasket, the dude didn't give me a rubber gasket as mentioned earlier, sort of a thin full covering fiber gasket, one side says "thiis side toward clutch".... first time doing rhis... is that the right seal?

It was a solid disk correct. If so then yes.
