Either the 30t primary chain engine sprocket or 30t secondary belt pulley. Both lower the final ratio a fair amount...killer mod if you like to hotrod it, one of my favorite mods for sure! 6th gear actually becomes usable & not a waste. Tachs up pretty good on the freeway but I don't care thats how I like it...power is always there & no more down shifting BS, just roll on and haul a**! With the engine sprocket it doesn't effect the speedo, not a big deal anyhow. I went with the engine sprocket, both work great!

So my wheelies will be easier?? Is it hard to change? Spendy?

Yes..wheelies would be easier. I have one on my bike. the sprocket is only about 110-120$.

Like chad said the only draw back is that your motor revs higher. It might be a problem with a 5 speed tranny.

Exactly...it's geared more towards the 06 & up dynas since the final ratio was so crappy from the factory, kinda puts it back to where it should be & a little more, LOL!

Yeah I'm gonna see about putting mine back to stock at least cuz I think the dude before me geared it high so we'll see it that helps but then again the Branch Heads, Woods Cams, and the 95" Big Bore kit should help my cause a bit too I guess.

I've been thinking about the 30t.............hwy speeds say 75-80 in 5th is the sweet spot...........6th has no snap
