Default powdercoat rim prep fxdf

fork boots, 1.75 lowering blocks and gloss black powdercoated rims, my issue is when getting rims ready for powder is is it a pain in the **** getting the tires, valve stems and bearing off of the wheels

was wondering if anyone has knowledge of taken rims off , and removing tires, valve stems and bearings, getting rims done in gloss black this week, and i dont want to fugg it up

Tad, that is one option but can you imagine how much more shipping is going to cost with the tire / wheel intact?

To the OP, I'm sure once you deflate the tire removing it, the tube and valve stem shouldn't be that difficult. I'd say just pull the tire and tube. The powdercoater can pull the valve.

My bad - didn't read carefully. Thought the question was about pulling the spokes, etc.

Any indy shop would likely pull the tires and bearings for a very small fee.
