Guess I should have done ALL my research b4 I decided to swap pipes......Removed my D&D Slip-Ons and modified the bracket on a set of pre-'06 Troublemakers to fit my '07 Low Rider. I neglected to account for the fact that my mid-controls would need to be swapped for forwards if I want to run the pipes. I'm royally ticked off and am debating going to forwards (which I really never planned on), designing a bracket to run my mids with the pipes, or just going to a new pipe altogether. Not a happy camper.
if you got everything to mount the hookers i'd be interested in them , i got pythons on my bike and like the look of the troublemakers over big radius v&h trade or buy for right price , if your interested let me know!
I really liked the look of the hookers and back in the day when i was pipe searching i saw that they would not work with mids and i had those at the time anyway.
Why won't they work with the mids, If you like the mids then make some offset for the mid mount and make it all work out if possible otherwise your going to have to get forwards or different pipes.
keep the mids and get a different pipe, e-bay your new hookers or sell to a forum member. No pint on moving to forwards if you don't really want to just to make some pipes work.

After sleeping on it.....thats this weekends project. The bike does look insane with the Troublemakers and i DO want to keep the mids. So that leaves making an offset for the mid rather than going to forwards. Theres 3 reasons y i don't want to go to forwards. One, i'm 5'8 and can't ride as aggresssively with them. Two, they wouldn't be compatible with my Lindby highway bar which I unlike most Dyna guys like the way beefs up my front end. And three, they would be an expensive upgrade considering the fact that I never intended to get them. So I guess its literally to the drawing board......time to design an offset to mount the mids. Talk about more than i bargained for! I've attached pics that show the mounted pipes along with one that shows my mid peg for now mounted up forward just so I could ride the bike around the bike to test the performance of the pipes.
Realized I was out of my league, so took it to a local moto fabricator. $80 later.....good to go. So my bargain basement $200 Hookers ended up costing me $280 after fabricating a mid mount bracket. Still my kind of deal.
