I almost bought a Fatboy before I went for the Street Bob. Looked much like the one you just picked up. I woud be really interested to hear your first hand feedback on how you like each one.
Congrats!! So what's the comparison you got so far??
I rode it home 20 miles...
First impression... uncomfortable (maybe because it is different)
Definately smoother
Less vibration
Way slower... WAY! But it is not Stage 1 like my Dyna.
Nowhere close to as nimble as my WG. I throw my WG around... the Fatboy wouldnt let me.
The Screaming Eagles are too too too quiet for my taste.
Feel like I sit on the bike instead of in it on my WG.
And the scary part? The engine sewing machine noise is soooo loud, I'm a little nervous about it. Maybe because the pipes are so quiet and the windshield so frigging big that it traps the noise. Sounds like the thing has no oil in it! (It does, I checked)
Just my 1st impressions... I'll check back in with you guys... gotta get it registered first!

Yea I went in for a Night Train or a Fatboy, but when I sat on them they weren't comfortable and I did feel like I sat on top of the fatboy as well. Sat on the Street Bob and that was it. Definitely keep us updated! Thanks for the info!
