Anyone here done this to their Dyna? It seems as though it would be nice to have, at least I liked my carbed springer. You could easily get that low idle that you can't get with the EFI. Even though they say the low idle isn't good for the bottom end but who cares. I'm curious if this would work on the newer EFI models. I really liked the Weber model 35-1115 that was on my old springer and would really like to see one on a converted EFI bike.

Wow, I wish I had your money so I could throw caution to the wind! Just messing with you, there was a thread about this last year I believe. You want the lope change cams, that and the fact that EFI gives more precise fuel delivery is why they don't have the "sound". Even with the mild 26H's in mine there is a pronounced difference in idle. Stock cams don't have **** for overlap and overlap is what get them rockin.
This can be done but for most it's just not worth it.Probably the easiest way to do it would be buy a crashed carbed Dyna from a few years back and swap the motor and wiring harness over.Or sell your FI dyna and buy a nice carbed one a few years old.
