Thanks all. I keep looking at the bike and I too like the mixture of black/silver/chrome. I'm trying to find the right balance...I'm going to do my fork sliders black, take off the rear tail light and do SOMETHING with my signals...haven't decided that yet.
As for the Cruiser...we have two. I am selling the FJ40 though, won't fit the two kids and dogs like the FJ80 does..but here is some eye candy. After it sells, I'm going to do a full chop from the ground up.
Looks good. I have the same bag and it's awesome. I just loaded mine up with some tools and bungees waiting for the weather. You should flip it so the flap opens forward and push the lid in so it's kind of pressed in and it acts like a bug/wind deflector. Just a thought!! Plus the straps line up right with the bars and the bottom I wrap around the tree. Here's a couple pics with the bag.
Here's camping with the bag and tent strapped to it.
SWEET! Thanks for the idea Jaron, I'm going to flip mine around like that.
Also if you have some vinyl stickers put it on top on the head light because it will scratch it, no problem with the stickers there. The bag will leave scuffs in the trees and bars, but you can buff it out with some mothers. Not trying to discourage the bag, it's great, just some preventative advice.
Didn't think of the stickers, but I do put my helmet bag in between but it moves so I know it too will scuff it up. Thanks again, I have the perfect sticker in mind for it.
Oh yea one more thing I promise. When you tie the lower straps around the upper tree between the top of the shock tube and around the tree and the upper ones to the bars it is solid and doesn't move really at all.
