And....throwing that fat 18" on the back (yeah, I'm watching the other thread too!) will make your bike look killer.
There's a new 18" thread with no hits though. Deltadog ordered the 18X5.5 and he's trying to figure out the spokes, so once he does that I'm going to go that route when it's time for a new tire. This Forum is freakin dangerous!! Yesterday the wife had a migraine and wanted me to stay inside to watch the kids, so I spent $128 buck on a freakin oil scavenger! Then after seeing your thread I just bought Jackly's tank lift. Ahh! One day the bike will be done... Probably not!!

I hear ya! My dad wants to do the 18 on his WG so I'll be taking careful notes on that thread, and hell, I might do it as well.

I was up in the air on the tank lift but man, they really do look nice on the right bike! I think you'll be really happy about it!

My wife always asks about the new packages that randomly show up on the door. Haha, she loves me!

Yea I didn't think I wanted a tank lift and your thread put me over. I got a super secret fund the wife has no room to complain. I use my per diem from traveling all the damn time!! So it works!

Speaking of spending money, look what I found for your stage one and mine when ever I get one.

Vinsil... beautiful bike, nice work. Any chance you can post a close up pic of your license plate bracket? I'm in the process of shaving my tail light on my '06 Bob and am trying to decide which bracket to get to sidemount my plate. Looks like yours is all black with the hidden LEDs at the top? Thought I had run across one similar a while back, but I've never been able to locate it again until I saw your pics. I'm in NY and a lit plate is a DMV requirement.

Vinsil - looks like you have the lowering blocks in the back. Are those the stock shocks? Also, Did you drop the front too. Looks like a pretty level profile. How does it feel with the blocks?

I could but I can explain it very easy. I used some steel I cut, and bent it 90 degrees. Drilled 3 holes, one to mount to the rear belt guard and two to mount the plate bracket. The LED bracket came from custom dynamics, it is their cheap $27 dollar one. It is a simple one. I recommend NOT getting their backing plate though, they are very cheap and seem to flake on the black ones, the chrome came pretty scratched up and I don't see it holding up well.

JimmieJack-yes, stock shocks and the front is stock right now (I have progressive springs to go in). I personally like the blocks. I didn't touch my shock adjustments but you may have to go up a notch or two if you find yourself bottoming out.
