Default Solo Bag Mounted, Plastic Tank Bib Removed (Pics)

Well, I got the swingarm bag mounted. I'm not sure, but I think I need to add some aluminum plate on the inside of the bag to stiffin it up a little. Here's what I did.
Here are the three existing nuts that I am using to mount the bag to...

Here are the supplies I purchased. They are 5/16" bolts of different lengths. I ended up using the longer ones. 1 1/2". The sockets I used for stand-offs. They are 1/2" sockets (3/8" drive).

Drilled three holes in the bag. I drilled one hole first (the top right one first) and bolted it in, then rotated the bag into the right place and marked the second place for the next hole. Drilled that one, bolted it up and then marked the last hole on the bottom and drilled it.

Used the 1/2" sockets for stand-offs...

Bolted it on...

Here it is mounted...

Then I removed the tank bib. I like it better without the stock bib, but I may get a leather one...

Also took the strap off the seat...

Which 3 bolt holes did you use on the swingarm. The rear one by the sprocket is so close I don't how you got the bolt in there without removing the rear tire. What nut did you use, the acorn nuts on the bike? Looks great btw!

Very innovative man! I like it.

I've had no problem with the leather straps though.

Great job, I just had a look at my Deluxe swingarm, and there doesn't appear to be enough room to mount a bag the way you have done it..... not much belt/pulley clearance for the thickness of the head of a bolt or the thickness of a nut depending on which way you do it??
