i am lookin for help findind a nice map for a 2006 bob. right now i only have SE II slip ons with slight poping every now and then on decell .. i would like to keep my fuel milage .but get more out of my bike
can anyone help me ?
i will be doing an A/C soon but i dont have it yet so maybe u can help me with that map also ..
I am not sure what you have done or looked so I will just let you know what I did.
Go to WWW.Powercommander.com , then in the upper left you will see >>>SITE MAP<<< go here, now go to Map Database. Here you will pick Harley Davidson, now the fun begins. I am not sure which one you should use. I may try the 1st of the Vance $ Hines ones. A few notes on the PCIII, when you download the software, I had troubles getting it to load, I had it installed on my extra drive and not my C: and well it just would not work, so I reloaded it C: and it went perfect from there. There is a little Battery adapter (at least mine did) for doing the download without a labtop commputer by the bike, the only thing here is make sure the bat. is brand new (9v) and the connector that goes into the PCIII unit, you really have to push to get it in, at least on mine I did. Anyways, after you get it going it really is just too simple.
I wish you all the luck in the world!! PS I would also go to the Powercommnader website and email tech on which map to use with the SE slipons.
thanks for the help i was lost alittle on there sight but i did find where u were talking about .. i dont have the programmer yet i am just trying to get the feel and understanding for it before it gets here .. any info or pointers would be greatly appreciated
I wish I could remember what site it was but I was surf'n the web one day and found a VTwin site that had a thread that member posted their specs and downloads for whatever ac, pipe, etc setup they had. There was tons of them! Does anyone know of that site?
I am wondering if any of you are using the O2 sensor eliminators .. i dont think i wanna use these can i still use the programer without the O2 sensor eliminators

I believe if you dont use the O2 sensor eliminators, your going to get error codes. I have the SEII slip-ons and the SE AC on my 06 Bob, and Im running canned map 811-003 for V&H bigshots staggered, SE AC, and Stock ECM. It works fine. Im planning to get it dynotuned in the next week or so, and if it's any good, I'll post the map file.
Just got the Vance & Hines shortshots installed, with the S/E Stage 1 A/C kit and the PCIII. What a huge difference!! Took a total of about 4 hours to do it all and was well worth it. I got rid of most of the surging problem I had and on Thursday I get the 25 deg injectors installed and should take care of the other problems. I will say this, if you follow the instructions on installing the PCIII it goes in really kinda easy. I so far must recommend the PCIII. As for the exhaust, if you do not want a loud and I mean loud set of pipes, you better get the baffles with these. Personally, they are awesome. Jsut my 2 cents.

while on the powercommander website you can also download the powercommander program software.
you wont be able to use it on the bike, but you can run it and view the maps you download from the website etc. can tweak and save etc. twill be a help for when the real thing arrives
