Question about custom paint jobs?

Just buy the paint and supplies and have at it. If your going to do a base coat clear coat, you can do a great job for little money. You can even use preval sprayers to paint with. While you may not end up as smooth as an expensive pro job, a little 1500 grit and polishing compound and the finished product will be there. Most work is in the prep.

$1200 for mine. Check out http://www.attitudecustompainting.com/ Great people to deal with and you will not be disappointed. They sometimes run deals for flames under $1000.

Just got my tins custom painted for $1325 - worth every penny. Airbrushed with base, flake, 2-color scheme and then 8 coats of clear. Got a custom front tin done to add memorial piece for my mother who passed away last year. Ill snap pics later this week after rain passes.
