I have a bent front wheel (19"/2.15" with 1" axle) on my 2006 Street Bob. Some people are telling me that I can get it trued to fix it. Another person told me that if the wheel is bent there is nothing I can do except buy a new wheel. If I can get the wheel trued it would be a lot cheaper but if it's not a good fix it doesn't do me any good. I would appreciate any advice I could get.

Thanks,

I have a stock SB rim and spokes for a 07 I can sell ya. I just unlaced it to try and lace up my hub to a 21x3.5 with no success.
If your wheel is out of round, you can get it trued. If the rim is bent, you need to have it straightened or get a new rim.
These wheels are becoming more common now. You should be able to find one pretty cheap through the classifieds or on eBay. Lots of guys want the hubs to build custom wheels with so you can probably sell the hub from your bent wheel for almost the cost of a take-off wheel.
Another option, buy a new hoop to replace your bent one and lace it yourself.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know. Any 19"/2.15 rim will work right?
I got the same issue or problem on my front wheel. It's very slight and it doesn't lose air but still makes me a little uneasy. I'm still on the fence whether I want to replace it, go a little bigger or go mags on this thing. If I remain spoked I have got to do the stainless and have the rims powdered. Just don't know what route to go, but I do know it will run some danero.
