Default Key Lamp Question

I just got my bike back from the dealer for a 1000m service. $298 CAD. Very expensive oil change and I didn't even get a complimnetary jar of vasoline. I don't know if this is normal or not but I didn't notice it before I had the service done. Anyway, I turn the key on and all the lights on the dash come on for a few seconds (this IS normal). Then, they all go out and a few seconds later the red key or security lamp comes on for a few seconds then goes out.

My bike seems to run fine. No problems at all. I thought maybe it was something to do with the DTC codes so I follwed some intructions on the board here for pulling them. When I go into the diag "S" mode, it looks like I have a b0563 code. When I look up that DTC code, it says "Battery Voltage High". I try to clear it but don't seem to be able to.

Is this normal? I thought DTC faults were indicated by the engine lamp (not the security lamp). Has my bike thrown a DTC? Is there something wrong?

I don't want to get raped again by the dealer so if anyone can help I'd sure appreciate it.

Thanks.

Oh, it's an 06 Street Bob I'm referring to...

Default RE: Key Lamp Question

The red key lamp coming back on the second time for a few seconds usually means there is an error code.
I think my 1000 service was $120.00 and I had SyN3 put in at the time.

Come on folks. I'm pretty sure we have a few HD mechanics out there. The service manager at my local stealer is telling me this is normal. I don't buy it. Especially sice I get the B0563 everytime I go into diag mode.
