New pipe installed ...
I think the bracket he fabbed holds it a little high ... think I'll ask him to bend it down just a tad ....
For those who are interested: V-Twin Mfg catalog (www dot vtwinmfg dot com "Classic 1915 - 1983") shows a couple examples of cigar mufflers on page 607 ... I kinda like the black one ....
Fishtails are on page 608; what I refer to as a 'cocktail shaker' they show as a "megaphone" on page 609 ....
Hmmmm ... the flash gordon fishtails are kind of interesting ... as are the short bologna cut or 'goose neck' ....
If I don't do something soon, I think I'll need to install a baffle to give me a little back pressure ....
The pipe gets a little loud when I twist the grip ... pretty mellow when just idling or when resting at cruising speed ... but, when I need to accelerate, the volume kicks in big-time ...!
I'm pretty pleased with the look over all ....
