Default Stage 1 Air Cleaner swap question

Hey guys,

I have a two part question...first is my 2008 FXDF has stage one on it;
V&H Big Radius 2into2
PCIII
Zippers Air Filter
I am going to swap the Zippers Max Flow for the SE Heavy Breather, do I need to do a new map for the PCIII or will the one I have work?

Second question...my g/f has a 2007 FXDB with stage one on it;
V&H Big shots
SE Air Filter
Harley Map Download (this was all done by the guy she bought the bike from)
I want to put my Zippers Max Flow on her bike instead of the SE Stage One Air Cleaner Filter...do I need the Dealer to do a new download or will it be the same. She is going to get a Power Commander but not for a couple of months...

Thanks,
Mickey

The dealer will not have downloads for other than Harley SE parts so I think their download would be the same map for any high flow filter.... unless the stage II download is more appropriate. My opinion is all those factory downloads are a waste of $$, perhaps a throw away bandaid to tie you over until you can do the right thing.

If you don't want to worry about effects of changes, look at the TTS tuning kit. The kit is a good deal for two bikes (roughly $300 each bike).

if your just swaping the air cleaners and not touching anything else youshould be fine the only thing that the dealer download and your pciii map really do is account for the extra airflow by adding more fuel
