I got my 2010 SB in December and haven't looked back. Great bike - rides, handles and feels just right. Ton of things I want and can do to it to make it mine. Traded in my Nighster for it and haven't looked back. go for it!
Hi,I sold my 06 XLR 1200 and bought a 08 Street Bob,a good decision.Much nicer bike.Rides way better and has plenty of power and torque, and,it's got a 6th gear!Mine came with fowards and a new breather,I'm getting ready to buy pipes.Taxes first,I'm afraid.........................Buy it !!!
You won't go wrong with the SB.It's a real 'blank canvas' to do anything you want.I wouldn't worry about the decals, there's so many that you can replace them with (your'e right, stock ones look cheap and shitty).
The SB is a nice ride, Like others have said a platform to go in any direction if that is what you want. I was thinking of trading in to a SB but allowance on my FXDLI is not enough for me to do it
Tx all for your positive input. I bought the Street Bob - only colour was red - so I took it! The red tank & mudguards go well with the black engine and black rims (chrome spokes). I will have to change the exhaust at some point as the bike sounds like a Briggs & Stratton lawn mower now! (HD should stop listening to the little "Green" men!!)
If all goes well I should get it by the week end / Monday - will post pics.
It is expensive here in South Africa - comes down to $23370!! Damn ouch!!
But I want to .... so I must cough up I guess.
WOOHOO!!!!! Another Street Bob Owner...LET THE MODS BEGIN!!!!! And also since you are somewhat new to here you must post pics of the bike and mods or It Didnt Happen LoL...Good Luck and be Safe

I like your bike's pipes & air intake! How much in $??
Getting the Street Bob will allow me to at least keep up with my husband's Suzuki Boulevard!
I would like to change the rear wheel... Can one fit a fatter rim & tyre? Do you get a kit for this bike allowing this? Imagine this bike with a Rocker 240 rim & tyre....
