Absolutely good advice. You will save your money if you are going to eventually chrome it out. All the Superglide Custom needs is a Solo seat and some mini apes and you are in Chrome-bob territory.

Cheers,

Tom

Default No more Street Bob!!

The dealer called today telling me that the red Street Bob was mistakenly also booked for another buyer.... there was a genuine misunderstanding! I was made a very good offer on a 2010 black with silver pinstripe Dyna Wide Glide (to me looking the same as the Street Bob - just more chrome, neater exhaust, fwd controls, rear footpegs & seat and chrome speedo console, more normal handle bars etc).

Well needles to say I immediately took it - will be delivered Monday.

What do you think??

Regards

Sounds sweet! Definitely a better bike in all aspects IMO. Good choice! Kinda glad they made a mistake now, eh?

Can't wait to see some pics of it. Congratulations!

Do it! I just traded in my 07 1200XLC for 2010 FXDB and I love it! I'm a 6'4" chick so I need the apes and more room for my legs. I switched my mids to fwds as soon as it arrived from the factory! Rides like a charm!!!! Couldn't be happier!:-)
btb- I have brand new set of Mid Controls that was taken off the bike- $90 free shipping if anyone wants them- they have 0 miles on them:-)

If you miss chrome don't buy a Street Bob. You might be better of with Super Glide Custom if chrome is your thing.

This is what I think!!

Agree! As you can see from my pic it's pretty much black on black on blackkk- it's all stock (except of the chrome foot controls)- I got the bike This past Saturday... Of course you can "chrome it up" but it's just extra money...

I prefer the looks of the Street Bob to the Fat Bob personally. You can't beat that price. Get black!
