I removed the baffles from my stock pipes.
I could not tell any hp loss and it runs fine.
Planing on getting a fuel management system and some real pipes later this month.

To all that responded to my post. THANK YOU....I took the baffles out of the stock 07 SE mufflers re-installed the packing the job took 3hrs. Take it from me it was the worse mod that I did to the bike, they sounded like $hit, I ordered the BCT last night I have them coming next day air, looking forward to another 10,000 mile season, oh and a new rear tire

how you like the BCT's??? i am a cheap skate, and didn't want to spend the $$

i'm running V&H true duals, with NO Baffles...and i love the sound!!! very loud... could be a little deeper, but i like the sound.

anyway, i'm wanting more power out of my evo, and everyone tells me i need to put some baffles in....

just wanted to know how you like the BCT's... you probably do, everyone else on here seems to
